Needed Led Flashlight
Needed Led Flashlight
In your opinion of swiss army pocket knives?
Hey, which of these two pocket knives do you think is most useful and why? I need a swiss army pocket knife that i could carry with me everywhere and find use for it. Im 15 years old and I dont need a hunters weapon lol. so I was thinking on either the spartan lite or the signature lite. I would like a knife with a good LED flashlight on it but im not sure which knife has the better light. please advice!! thanks
The Signature Lite I would consider the pocket knife of a prissy business person concerned with loosing his/her pen and not being able to get to the salon to have his/her nails done. This is just my view however -- it's still a nice tool.
The Spartan Lite can actually be used for more than showing off by playing with the flashlight at said nail salon. It's basically the $20 Victorinox at Wal-Mart that I use with a flashlight, another screwdriver, and wire stripper and corkscrew attached. Bright light for real use, a sturdy ~3" blade for things besides peeling fruit, screwdrivers that you'll likely use often if you do anything involving mechanics and don't carry around tools, and other useful things. I've even used the can opener on mine to manipulate hex screws, and use the toothpick and tweezers daily, just like the large knife.
Just a heads up, Victorniox knives are razor sharp out of the box. And, what you were asking about: The white LED is a good deal brighter and more useful.
TL;DR. The Spartan Lite has a brighter light, and would be worth the extra $15 if it didn't have one at all.
