Text Messages
Jason regularly uses Text Messages to send out updates, especially when he’s out of range of cell phone internet access. And we use a free service called Twitter which sends Jason’s text messages to as many people as want to receive it. So if you’d be interested in getting Jason’s text messages updates, all you have to do is sign up for a free Twitter account.
Once you have an account add Jason as your Twitter friend and you’ll get all the text message updates before they hit the site!
RSS Feed Reader
RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is to gather news and information, called “feeds”, from Web logs (blogs). These RSS feeds include headlines, summaries and links back to the full articles. RSS feeds are free and JayBoWalkin.com currently uses RSS 2.0.
Here are a number of ways you could grab Jason’s RSS feed, for more information check out this NYT article Fine-Tuning Your Filter for Online Information.

Who’d have thought we could actually use email instead of all these gadgets? We won’t spam you… I don’t think… No we won’t. But you will get a nice email message every time JayBo posts a new message. This way you don’t have to keep coming back here and checking up on it!
If you’re a facebook social networker you can add Jason as a Facebook friend and you’ll see all his blog and text message updates in your facebook news feed. If you’re not a facebook user and want to be, you can sign up for free.
Photos
If you’re a flickr photo user you can get all the photos updates from Jason when you add Jason as a Flick friend. Every photo Jason uploads will be shown in your flickr homepage, all you need is a Yahoo! account to use Flickr.
Videos
And if you’re a YouTube video director or critic of any kind you can subscribe to all of Jason’s video updates directly and provide comments and video responses in the YouTube website.
I think that’s about all the extra ways we have for you to keep up with Jason’s progress… Let us know if you want any others!

Hey man, keep up the good work! Don’t let these idiots discourage you. Stick to your plan and you will come out on top. Remember, if you get discouraged, just stop by a friendly neighborhood firehall. They will feed you and make you laugh. Don’t forget to revisit us at Eng. 33 in Nashville TN. Looking forward to hearing from you, Eric ff/paramedic hope the hat and supplies came in handy!!! later, e
