“I want to do something extraordinary, build self confidence, jump start my new healthy lifestyle” - Jason Bliss

The Route

Jason Bliss is walking from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to San Francisco, California in a long adventure to do something amazing, inspire others, lose weight, and start a new life. Read the story behind Jason and his reasons why he’s walking.

Jason’s latest route will always be posted in the route category, take a look to see what Jason’s current plan is right now.

Originally Jason planned to stay in the middle of the country heading through Denver and Salt Lake City, however his plans changed after many friends suggested he avoid the Rockies during the winter. Currently Jason is trying to decide his new, more southern route and what cities it should connect through.

If you have any information or ideas where Jason can rest, party, and meet people along his way please do email us at jaybo@jaybowalkin.com. Keep an eye out on this page (we’ll link to the places as we have details) and Jason’s journal for more updates as they happen.
