There are many different reasons for buying a heavy duty flashlight as opposed to a cheaper counterpart. These flashlights have many advantages, and this isn't being lost on normal consumers and outdoors lovers alike. Read on to learn why these are often a good purchase.
First, heavy duty flashlights are built to last. They are often built from metal and stronger substances than the easier to break plastic. This not only guarantees that these lights will last a lot longer, but they are also often brighter and give a better quality of light for camping trips, night hikes, or any other similar night time activities while out in the great outdoors.
The second reason that these flashlights are superior is because of the self defense factor. A small rubber grip plastic light won't make for much of a club during a self defense situation.
